Missions
Impacting lives in the local and global community doesn’t have to be hard.
Impacting the Local Community
A great first step is to join us for Serve Saturday. The second Saturday of every month, we distribute food from the Food Bank in the Cradock area of Portsmouth. We meet at 8:30am behind the Fire Station at 32 Prospect Parkway and we’re finished up by 11am. It’s a great way to serve our community with your whole family.
Another way to impact the local and global community is through giving. If you give your tithe or an offering to Point Harbor, you are an integral part of missions both locally and globally. You are training pastors and supporting church plants in Peru, Cuba, and Nicaragua.
El Sembrador International
Our El Sembrador family of churches follows the model of the Apostle Paul in the New Testament; proclaiming the Good News, establishing the church, and appointing leaders. This strategy is conducted by indigenous men, called by the Holy Spirit, to plant new churches in their countries. Our role is prayerfully identifying these men, supporting their God-given passions for transforming their nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and teaching the newly baptized believers all Jesus commanded. The process is replicated as new churches are birthed from the original church plant.
